In the third quarter of 2024, the film and television app market on iOS in Sweden saw significant activity, with notable performances from the top five applications. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps demonstrated varying trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Max: Stream HBO, TV, & Movies from WarnerMedia Global Digital Services, LLC, showed a substantial increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $438K in the last week of August. This app also experienced a notable rise in downloads, reaching around 52K in the same week, while active users surged from 86K at the start of July to 243K by the end of September.

Amazon Prime Video maintained a steady revenue growth, with a peak of about $72K in the week of September 23. The app's weekly downloads saw a significant spike to 41K in late August, with active users maintaining a consistent range from 39K to 43K throughout the quarter.

Disney+ had a dynamic quarter, with revenue hitting a high of $649K in mid-September. Although downloads fluctuated, a significant increase was observed towards the end of September, reaching approximately 27K.
